Moi et lautre 2000x1560

Cult 1960s Quebec sitcom Moi et l’autre—a show based on the lives of two free-spirited and feisty roommates, Dominique and Denise—is being revived for the stage in this brand-new comedy written by best-selling author Kim Lévesque Lizotte.

Just like the old days, the loveable brunette and daring blonde get into some crazy adventures. Denise pulls one hairbrained scheme after another, while Dominique is the one who suffers the consequences.  Entangled in the chaos are the endearing Gustave, the janitor in the building where they live, and the always-serious Monsieur Lavigueur, who unwittingly lands himself in the heart of trouble time and time again.

The story takes place on the dawn of Expo 67. In a time of sweeping cultural change and women’s liberation, the two friends—funny as ever and just as fashionable—find themselves mixed up in a battle of talent and romantic conquests in a contest organized by a major French star. The question is ... can their friendship survive all the upheaval?

Moi et l’autre tells the story of two modern, take-charge women living in a fast-changing Quebec.

This show is only presented in French.
